Excavation of shipwrecks for 500 years carrying

A British shipwreck excavation company cooperated with the Omani Ministry of Cultural Heritage to salvage many of the wrecks of the ship 500 years ago in Arab waters.

According to Gizmodo, the shipwreck is said to be Esmerelda , belonging to the fleet of Count Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese explorer and one of the most successful European navigators of the Discovery Era (15th century). 17).

Esmerelda, led by Gama's uncle Vincente Sodré, is the captain. The ship was missing during Gama's second trip to India. It is the oldest Exploration ship wreck excavated.

So far, archaeologists have recovered more than 2,800 artifacts, including dozens of stone and bell cannon, a rare silver coin called Indio . So far, only two coins of this type have been found.
