Find a large valley with the Grand Canyon
The scientific journal Nature on July 26 said that a group of British scientists have discovered a giant valley in the Ferrigno glacier, west of Antarctica.
Grand Canyon.
By using radar, penetrating the thick ice at a distance of nearly 2,500km, scientists have discovered a new Alley 1.6 km deep and the size of the Grand Canyon, stretching 28km to the Gulf of Eltanina Bay Bellingshausen (Antarctica).
In 1961, many adventurers came to the area to study but did not find this interesting. The cause of the alley was considered to be related to the melting of the ice in the area.
The Grand Canyon is also known as the majestic Area, which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This area belongs to the Colorado Basin, Arizona State (USA) with a length of 446km and the deepest place reaches 1.83km.
A scientist said: " It is interesting that we have discovered an additional area that is similar in size to this wonder."
