According to cleaning workers here, the amount of dead fish is estimated at several hundred kilograms. By the afternoon of March 7, the fish were still alive and dense at the crossroads of Quang Trung-Nguyen Du, but most of them were very weak, constantly yawning like lack of oxygen.

Thien Quang Lake currently has 7 sewers but is only used to discharge domestic wastewater into the lake, not to drain the water, so the lake often stagnates causing pollution.
