Find the culprit causing earthquakes in Iran
The collision of two tectonic plates is the cause of the earthquake in Iran yesterday.
A 6.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Iran that killed dozens of people yesterday. The Iranian Seismological Center said the earthquake occurred at 1622 local time, at a depth of 12km. The epicenter is located in the Khaki region, about 90km from Bushehr to the southeast. Shakes appear throughout the Gulf, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Bill Barnhart, a geophysicist from the US Geological Survey, said the earthquake occurred in the Zagros Mountains, the natural boundary between Arabian tectonic plates and Eurasian tectonic plates. The Arabian tectonic plate moved north at about 10mm each year, pushing the Arabian Peninsula into Eurasian tectonic plates, Livescience reported.
"The Zagros mountain range is a blend of many earthquake lines , " Barnhart said.
Yesterday Iranian seismic happened when one side of the milling line moved upwards and pressed on the other side of the milling line.

In fact, seismic frequently occurs in southwestern Iran with intensity ranging from 5.5 to 6.3 Richter.
