The surface gas of WASP-33B, also known as HD15082, has a record temperature of 3,200 degrees Celsius.
The record high temperature source of the planet's surface is explained by scientists because it orbits near its own orbit, the hottest star known to date of 7,160 degrees Celsius.
It is located 380 light years from Earth and belongs to the constellation Andromeda.
WASP-33B, also known as HD15082, has a record temperature of 3,200 degrees Celsius.
Scientists have mentioned the existence of the first planet WASP-33B in 2006 after observing its parent star.
WASP-33B is 4.5 times larger than Jupiter. WASP-33B orbits a star with its orbit of 29.5 hours.
The discovery of the planet's temperature WASP-33B was thanks to the team, led by Alexis Smith of Keele University in Staffordshire, using an infrared camera on the William Herschel telescope in the Canary Islands.
The hottest planet in the Milky Way known earlier is a planet with a temperature of 900 degrees Celsius. It is called WASP-12b, located 600 light-years from Earth. WASP-12 is a yellow dwarf located in the winter Auriga constellation. It was discovered by British scientists in 2008.
