The small house floating on the river is printed by 3D in just 48 hours and is designed to last 100 years, which is the new design of a Czech sculptor.

This summer, sculptor Michal Trpak, in collaboration with a construction company, will print the first house with 3d printing technology for the Czech Republic. The house, called Prvok, floats on a buoy but can also be put on land. This structure was built in just 48 hours, seven times faster than traditional house construction and could save up to 50% of the construction cost compared to conventional buildings. Compared with brick buildings, 3D printers create less waste CO 2 over.

Inventor Michal Trpak and the Erste team have started putting this idea into production, and the first home will be launched this month. They hope the project will "permanently change the construction industry" , making the houses customizable, making them more affordable and less wasteful than traditional methods.

3D printing house first floor area of 43 m 2 , there are three rooms: bathroom with toilet, living room with kitchen and bedroom. The building is anchored on a buoy and people can live in it.

The house provides circulating ecological technologies for bathrooms, drinking water bottles and sewage systems, can be remotely controlled, covered with green trees. The house is designed to last for at least 100 years in any environment.

3D printing also eliminates at least 20% of carbon dioxide emissions from traditional construction, which accounts for nearly half of the total emissions in the Czech Republic.

'When it is no longer in use, the owner can crush the building and use the material to reprint it on the same location, "sculptor Michal Trpak said.
