Muong Ang district has 4 houses with landslides, including a house to be relocated urgently. Rain and flood have buried 35 hectares of winter rice, causing complete damage, 14ha flooded, about 50% damage.

Flooding also made 30m of canal in Xuan Lao commune collapsed, causing water shortage for 8ha of rice in the field of 3 villages, 2 dams of focal points of the commune of Hoang Nua were broken.

July 16 morning rain caused flooding on many streets of Dien Bien Phu city. Many major roads have a time when motorcycles cannot pass. Floods have been buried, causing about 5 ha of rice flooding, causing 1.2 ha of aquatic product damage in 2 communes Thanh Minh and Nam Thanh ward.
