China Daily said the discovery was announced by the Shaanxi Province Archaeological Institute on December 11. Archaeologists said they had found antiquities when cleaning a tomb during the Warring States Period (475-221 BC) to build an international airport in Xi'an.

Liu Daiyun, the head of the excavation team, said one of the three artifacts is a three-legged European bone embedded in a liquid. One is a copper bottle containing colorless liquid, thought to be an ancient wine.

The soup and bones in Europe are viscous green under the effect of copper rust. " This is the first time Chinese archaeologists have dug up an object that still contains internal bone soup ," Liu said.

The artifacts were immediately transferred to the laboratory of the archaeological academy after being dug up. Archaeologists will consider the soup contained in euros to see which animal bones and determine the composition of the liquid like alcohol.

According to archaeological experts, the type of tomb and objects inside showed that the tomb was built during the Qin Dynasty of the Warring States period and its owner was an important figure at the time.
