Giant fox appeared in England

A fox about twice the size of a regular fox has just been captured in the UK. This event made scientists worried that urban foxes were getting bigger because they had many favorable conditions.

Telegraph said the giant male fox caught and died in the city of Maidstone, Kent county. It weighs 12 kg and has a body length of 1.2 m - equivalent to the height of a 7-year-old child.

Keith Talbot, who caught the animal, said that many foxes appeared around his parents' house during the past time. He decided to set a trap after discovering a fox cat killed in front of the house.

Animal experts say that urban foxes may be getting bigger because they can easily find food in trash bins or in front of animal lovers' homes.

Officials say at least 34,000 foxes are living in British cities. In all flocks, the first male is usually larger than the others because they enjoy the most food. Other foxes are only allowed to eat after the head of the herd is full.

Recently, the people of the fog began to worry about the presence of foxes in the city after the press reported that a couple of London twins were accused of attacking in the bed last year. However, animal rights protection organizations reassure public opinion that the majority of foxes catch insects and small mammals to eat. They insist they are not harmful to humans unless threatened.
