According to Express, meteorite 2004 BO41 was discovered in 2004, has grazed the Earth at a distance of 11.7 million km at 0: 12 minutes on the night of 7/9 Vietnam time. This distance is classified by the US Aerospace Agency as "passing near the Earth" due to the size of the meteorite.

While certain about the trajectory of 2004 BO41, NASA had difficulty predicting the trajectory of a smaller meteorite that would be very close to the Earth with the 2016 QL44 number. NASA said this meteorite is rushing towards the Earth in an unstable orbit.

As expected, QL44 will be about 4,137,000km from Earth, 3.6 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon, on September 17. The 61-meter meteorite will travel at 49,890km / h, but NASA cannot accurately calculate the time it passes through the Earth and deviates from the expected time of up to 16 minutes.

The new 2016 QL44 was discovered earlier this year and NASA and other space agencies are closely monitoring its trajectory.
