Sister Steve recalls, one day Gabby came home from school and told her "my back is funny" . They touched their backs and felt a raspy warmth. After X-rays, doctors said the baby's back was broken.
To help me control this pain-free disease, Gabby was taken to many places by my parents. She met an eye specialist, an endocrinologist and an orthopedic surgeon. Every doctor scheduled Gabby's private examination.
