It currently operates in the St Johann Park in Basel, Switzerland. When wearing this type of glasses, the user sees a scene that is both real and fake, because the scene is mixed with 3D images such as ghosts, growing grass, bizarre insects, unusual sky.

The 'virtual reality' lens takes the wearer into the video game world in the middle of real life, with half-real-life images.

Glass Lifeclipper was created for entertainment purposes, just like a game. The system works on Windows 7-based computers that the user wears on his back. The images created on the computer are combined with real photographs obtained through the camega mounted on the glass. The glass is controlled via an iPhone.

These images have nothing to do with the cultural context of the surroundings.

Jan Torpus, the project director, said the key to the project was to challenge what we considered to be obvious, like gravity, the notions of space and time.
