This is the world's top quality orange variety, first introduced in Vietnam, for fruits after three years of planting.

Cara cara orange variety is suitable for warm climate from 23-29 degrees Celsius, sandy soil has a depth of 1m and tight soil where there is good drainage, pH of 6-6.5. Fruit is relatively big, seedless, harvested all year round, mature tree height is about 3-4m, canopy diameter is over 4m, life expectancy is 40-50 years.

The first harvest is about 60-85 fruits / tree. Orange fruit has a long spherical shape, the umbilical fruit is slightly convex due to a small side fruit inside the tail, orange peel has a bright yellow color, it is very eye-catching, easy to peel, easy to separate, pleasant taste, sweet taste Less acid content than domestic orange varieties, especially its intestine and water are dark red.

This is the only red orange in the world that produces lycopene color that can be used as an anti-lung cancer, heart failure and focus on killing cancerous tissues in the human body. This orange also gives carotenoids very good for balanced diets .

Another important feature is that Cara carat oranges produce fruits all year round , not putting pressure on the harvest season. The productivity in the fourth year after planting reaches 8 tons / ha, with the current selling price of 50,000-70,000 VND / kg, income will be 160 million VND / ha, from the fifth year onwards the productivity will reach 15-20 tons / ha, giving income 2-2.5 times higher than the fourth year.

On average, each tree has about 3-4 first-grade branches, with a height of 13cm, a diameter of 0.5cm.
