Yesterday (November 26), China unveiled the first image of the Moon captured by Hang Nga 1, the country's first lunar exploration ship, marking the successful project of the detective project. Ms. Hang.
The black-and-white photo in a glass frame was introduced by Prime Minister Wen Jiabao himself at the Beijing Aerospace Control Center (BACC). It shows the rough surface of the Moon with large and small round holes scattered.
According to BACC, the area photographed is about 460km long, 280km wide, located at the position of 54-70 degrees south latitude, 57-83 degrees east longitude. This area is located in the highlands of the Moon, with a major component of plagioclase minerals. This surface consists of many different holes in size, shape, texture and chronology.
'The dark areas in the upper right corner of the photo show the surface of the area covered with basalt', the BACC said.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the general project of the Center for Moon Exploration Works of China Defense Science and Technology Commission, Duong Da Hoa, affirmed that the image quality is very good and completely in accordance with the design requirements. It is very successful from the stage of shooting to the processing of ground data.
