Heavy rain in many days, flood in Central region is rising
In the past 3 days, the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh have heavy rains and floods on rivers, and many roads are flooded with heavy rains.
In the mountainous district of Nghia Dan and Quy Hop (Nghe An), heavy rains from the upstream flow have caused flooding on Hieu River to rise, flooding some sections of the highway 48. On September 10 night, heavy rainfall continues. continuously pouring down, causing the highway to pass through Thai Hoa town to be paralyzed.

In the midland and mountainous districts of Nghe An, heavy rains for many days have also caused the water levels of streams to rise. Many low-lying areas of districts such as Thanh Chuong and Nam Dan, water began to flood. Although there is no human damage yet, heavy rain lasting for many days has caused many streets of Vinh city to be submerged in water.
According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, due to the influence of the low-pressure trench with the axis of the Middle-Central region combined with the strong operation of the east wind to the southeast in the past days in the provinces from Thanh Hoa and Nghe An , Ha Tinh has heavy rain. At Cua Dat (Thanh Hoa), rainfall is up to 153 mm, in Nam Dan (Nghe An) 147mm, Chu Le (Ha Tinh) 159mm.
