According to ATI, the main character in the story of 'legend' of this human mutant is John Jeremiah Garrison Johnston, born in 1824 in Little York, New Jersey (USA). When the Mexican-American war began to erupt, Johnson left his hometown to join the US Navy.

However, Johnston's time in the US Navy did not last long. After beating an officer, Johnson escaped from the army and became a defector. To avoid arrest, Johnston changed his name to John Johnson and fled to the west, away from his homeland and those who wanted to find him.

And at Alder Gulch, Montana State, Johnson is meeting his future wife, a member of the Indian Flathead tribe. They married and lived together in a wooden house built by Johnson. Soon, Johnson's wife was pregnant and he seemed to have a perfect home. But happiness did not last for long when the storm hit Johnson's family.

One day when Johnson was away from home in 1847, a group of Crow Indian men broke into the house, killing Johnson's wife and burning his house. In a fit of rage, Johnson vowed to kill every member of the Crow tribe and he spent nearly 20 years in revenge for his wife.

Johnson is said to have killed and eaten the liver of over 300 Crow Indians. According to ATI, Crow believes that liver is important for them to step into the afterlife. Therefore, Johnson became the terror of this whole tribe, even hearing his name was enough to frighten them.

Later, Johnson suddenly reconciled with Crow. According to some historians, the cause of Johnson's actions is due to the risk of imminent war, the tribes need to unite and form alliances.

Johnson eventually joined the No. 2 Colorado Cavalry battalion of the Northern Federal Army in St. Louis. Louis in 1864 and was discharged in 1865. After that, he moved to Coulson, Montana, and was appointed deputy sheriff.

" Johnson " died in Santa Monica, California, and was buried in a veteran cemetery in Los Angeles on January 21, 1990.
