'That day I rode up Hay Bluff Hill and saw an orphaned sheep feeding on a horse. When I saw that scene, I thought it was an illusion. But then I continued to witness the incident for about a week. It seems that the ponies adopted the lamb and allowed the sheep to suck its milk , ' Hirst said.

The mare, belonging to the Shetland ponies, had one. Therefore, his adoption of sheep was what surprised Hirst.

'Even the mare watches when her baby and the lambs sleep next to each other. The sheep imitated the feeding of the pony , ' she said.

Although the relationship between sheep and ponies developed well, Hirst decided to intervene when she found that both the lamb and the young horse did not get enough milk.

"Female horses cannot provide enough milk for both children. So their two children are not healthy," she said.

Fortunately, the sheep has an identification number on the body so she can identify its owner. Hirst advised the sheep's owner to feed him with a bottle.
