How to grow good green choysum at home

Vegetables are grown all year round but the main season starts in August and translates the calendar until February of the solar calendar. Growing vegetables during this period will help you take less care and vegetables are still green.

Prepare

Land for growing vegetables, sweet vegetable seeds, plastic pots or styrofoam containers for growing clean vegetables, irrigation water, organic fertilizer such as cow dung, chicken manure, wormwood fertilizer.

Seeds

With a seed of 1 pack 50gr, you can plant 10 smart sized pots of 67cm long - 24cm wide - 20cm high or 5 large pots.

Treat seeds before sowing with fungicides. Seeds can be soaked in warm water with a foliar fertilizer (about 1cc / 1 liter of water), after 3 - 4 hours take out and drain and then incubate, then take them to sow.

Cultivation techniques

Depending on the type of soil you can plant immediately or need to improve soil to grow vegetables before sowing.

Choysum can be trimmed to eat small when the vegetables have 2-3 real leaves. Collect or second time when vegetables get 3-5 real leaves.

Vegetables after 3 weeks of sowing, care can be harvested.

Take care of vegetables

After planting, water every day in the morning and evening.

Because choysum is short-day vegetables, it is necessary to apply early and continuously. To ensure safety, you should use organic fertilizer that will ensure that vegetables are not poisoning you.

With 1kg of processed chicken manure you can top up the vegetables with 20 smart sized pots above during the period.

Note: When growing vegetables in pots at home in cold months plus drizzle, you should sow less, water under the root of vegetables. This will help the seedlings do not rot and root rot caused by moist air.
