Researchers have identified a " stimulating hormone " - responsible for activating molting in the worms to become beautiful butterfly wings.

David Champlin, a professor of biology at Southern Maine University and colleagues are the authors of this study. Champlin compared the newly discovered hormone (known as the initiator metamorphosis) as a motor starter in a car.
According to the research team, metamorphosis is regulated by the diet of worms. By changing this diet, one can create strange creatures half-deep and half-butterfly. For example, a hybrid organism has a specialized worm's mouth for chewing plants and has bile-sucking tubes like butterflies. The development of beard, legs and eyes has also reached an intermediate stage.
This half-and-half creature cannot eat and drink and therefore does not survive. However, researchers have been able to describe in detail the relationship between deep-forming cells and the cells that will make butterflies. A remarkable finding is that the butterfly-forming cells are derived from deep skin cells.
"All of this allows us to better understand the hormonal control of animal growth, including humans. It is also related to stem cell research and medical recovery. " Champlin said.

The life cycle of a butterfly begins from the infancy. Butterflies often lay eggs on leaves that are their favorite food. Eggs are very small and have many different shapes but are mostly spherical.

After more than 2 weeks, butterflies are in the back of the palm against the cocoon to create small holes to get out. New butterflies escaping from the cocoon cannot fly right away because their wings are still not dry and sturdy. After about an hour, the wings of the butterfly are full, dry and ready to fly.
