Human evidence originated from a couple of parents

The results of genetic analysis show that all human species today are descended from a pair of parents 200,000 years ago.

Two scientists, Mark Stoeckle of Rockefeller University and David Thaler of Basel University, concluded conclusions about the common ancestor of humans after examining the mitochondrial DNA of mothers passing on to their children, Fox News reported yesterday. According to them, the same is true for 90% of animals on Earth.

Stoeckle and Thaler analyzed 5 million genetic symbols of 100,000 different species, including humans. These bar codes are slices of DNA, outside the nucleus of living cells, called mitochondrial DNA and are passed from generation to generation. The study authors conclude that human beings today have the same origin from a single parent couple of about 100,000 to 200,000 years ago after an Earth disaster eradicated nearly the entire population.

"We often think that due to the high population and large geographical distribution, people can achieve greater genetic diversity than other animals. However, perhaps we need to review this." Dr. Stoeckle said.

Stoeckle and Thaler believe that 90% of the species that live on Earth originate from parents who started giving birth at the same time less than 250,000 years ago. When they discovered the evidence, they themselves found it hard to believe the numbers and were still looking for more solid bases.
