Hung Yen city has successfully implemented the project "Technology transfer of production and processing of edible mushrooms, medicinal mushrooms".

This is a research and applied project, which has great value in developing mushroom cultivation for the Red River Delta provinces.

The project is piloted by Hung Yen City Science and Technology Council on an area of ​​1,100m 2 camps and 8,400m 2 of yard yard of mushroom veteran cooperative of Hong Nam commune.

Growing lingzhi mushroom

With the cooperation of Hung Yen Department of Science and Technology and Vietnam Agricultural Genetics Institute, the project has cultivated 5 types of mushrooms: straw mushroom, ear fungus, fat mushroom, oyster mushroom and lingzhi mushroom in quantity Over 400 tons of sawdust, straw and cotton waste materials per year.

As a result, it has been able to produce grade 3 mushrooms of all kinds, with a total output of 150 tons / year, exceeding the set target. At the same time, selection, storage and preservation of fungal varieties meeting quality criteria.

The products have many outstanding advantages, the mushroom body grows big, high productivity, good quality and clean. Products are widely consumed in the provinces of Hanoi, Hai Duong and surrounding areas.

From the above effect, the project has built seed production process and seed preservation technology suitable to local conditions; affirming the role of science and technology in the field of agricultural biology to create safe, valuable and safe food for consumption and export, making use of agricultural waste materials to contribute to protection environment.

The project has also disseminated and replicated in rural areas a new job for high income, at 3 million VND / person / month.
