You have smart shirts, now you need a smart wardrobe to put them on.

Professor Bruce Thomas and colleagues at the University of South Australia are developing a wardrobe that can keep your wardrobe clean and at the same time keep up with the latest tunes .

There are some smart electronics that can keep track of your heart rate or transfer music to wireless headsets. But how do you upload music to your mp3 player or how to get your heart rate? Researchers have created a wardrobe to do this.

The cabinet has a computer located at the foot, connected to the electronic clothes hangers, each coat has its own code. Clothing is attached to the system through conductive pieces in the shoulder. A touch screen outside the closet allows the user to communicate with the system.

The closet also connects to the internet and is programmed to load music at certain times or to track when you last washed your clothes. So the system can tell you the robe No. 24 has the latest music of the week, or the robe 25 has a vest that is worn too many times but not washed.

Thomas says the closet can be as helpful as a fashion consultant . For example, it can download information from the internet to show what color combinations are fashionable this year. Or it can also help you keep track of which dresses you wear at any given time.

In addition, the smart box also helps you test how your baby has worked during the day through the accelerometer attached to the shirt. For the elderly, the sensors on the costume can recognize health problems and immediately notify family or emergency services.
