Investigate inhumane Medical experiments
The Bioethics Council, directed by the US President, provides information about inhumane medical tests taking place inside and outside the United States.
The Bioethics Council, directed by the US President, provides information about inhumane medical tests taking place inside and outside the United States.
The council came into being after a group of patients in Guatemala was infected with syphilis by the research team and was not treated for a rash. Up to 40-60% of US clinical trials are conducted overseas, but only a few cases have been discovered so far.
Deliberately infected with syphilis
The 40-year trial in Tuskegee, Alabama (USA) is the worst abuse in the history of human science trials. In this experiment, scientists recruited 400 black Americans and gave them syphilis without telling them. 15 years later, when penicillin became abundant, these men were still untreated because the team wanted to see the disease continue to spread to study the development of disease in the human body.

Do not give medicines to treat AIDS
At the end of 1997, an American research team was tasked with not providing medicine for some AIDS-infected mothers to enroll in the study, putting their children at risk of contracting the disease for centuries. This trial is considered to be a serious bad reputation for American scientists, because AZT - an effective drug at that time, was granted to all women in the country.
Illegally testing deadly antibiotics
Pfizer had to pay 75 million dollars after being sued by parents of 200 children in Nigeria to test the antibiotic on their children without permission.

The incident occurred in 1996, when Pfizer needed to conduct human trials to be licensed for a new antibiotic named Trovan. When the epidemic of cholera, cholera and measles broke out in Kano (Nigeria), Pfizer immediately set up a research team and sent it to the country.
The team set up tents right next to a medical facility, where Doctors Without Borders is providing free treatment, and then invites 200 children to participate in the unlicensed drug test, in when their parents are not aware of the test, nor do they know that the drug can cause liver and joint damage. As a result, 11 children died and many others were hurt.
Doctors receive money to consult drugs
Time magazine in November last year discovered many wrongs in a drug study of the University of Minnesota (USA) for drugs for schizophrenia.
The survey results show that the drug testing plan has many wrongs, leading to the conclusion that Seroquel is better than other drugs to treat schizophrenia. The doctors who conducted the study received much compensation from the drug manufacturing business, while the University of Minnesota was paid $ 15,000 per patient treated with Seroquel.
According to Time 's investigation , this case may be just the tip of the iceberg after they investigate many violations in the drug product testing process, funding and management.
