Last month, in Japan, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake caused 9 deaths and more than 900 injuries; at the same time causing radiation leakage at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant
On August 5, an expert group of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) arrived in Japan to assess the extent of the nuclear power plant's damage. Japan hopes IAEA experts will help dispel the fear of the world about nuclear safety in Japan.
