Mr. Nguyen Tien Hanh, Chairman of Van Hoa commune said that being warned about the flood due to the impact of cold air, from the previous two days, people actively moved assets and cattle to high places. Therefore, the commune has not recorded human damage, but some cattle and poultry have been swept away by water.
According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Quang Binh has 10,000 houses in 6 districts and towns inundated by 0.5-3 m in the afternoon.
