Manual firefighting methods such as using trees to directly hit fires have low efficiency, dangerous for firefighters, Dr. Duong Van Tai, Forestry University, chairman of the project said.

Since then, the research team has come up with the idea of ​​designing and manufacturing mechanical forest fire fighting equipment, integrating many technologies to extinguish the fire. On the vehicle, there is a system of soil cutting, soil suction and soil spraying to put out the fire.This technology allows it to take sand in place to extinguish the fire, very suitable for places where there is no water source, in addition to the design of the water treatment system, water spray gun to extinguish the fire.

The car also has a garbage grass cleaning system installed in the back to create a localized isolation tape to isolate the fire. This technology has quickly enclosed the fire isolated area at a speed of 15km / h, the width of insulation tape is 2.5-20m.

The topic was excellently evaluated by the Council of Science and Technology, accepted by the National Office of Intellectual Property for registration of patents.
