Farmers make multi-purpose spraying kits

Mr. Duong Van Thuan, farmer of Thanh Tri commune, Go Cong Tay district, Tien Giang, after nearly two years of research and development, has successfully created a set of multi-purpose plant protection sprays with symbol TY: 03.

This set of applications is effective in the field, very convenient, compact, it eradicates pests and other harmful objects in rice, vegetables and other crops.

With a price of only about 500,000 VND, the multi-purpose kit TY: 03 includes the hand push system, the alkaline frame, the pair of medicine pipes can be adjusted up and down at will. 4.6m long syringe has nine nozzles and some other accessories are attached to conventional pesticide sprays. The total weight is 3.5kg.

When spraying pesticides, the hand pushing system adjusts the spraying frame to bring down the stem and rice stem, high pressure spraying takes pesticides to the place where the pests hide, so the effect is very high. In particular, due to the spray design from the back of the driver, it is safe and healthy for users.

The kit fixes the disadvantages of conventional pesticide sprays such as slow speed, spraying on rice leaves does not eradicate pests in their hiding places, effort and pesticides. , spraying in front of the operator should always inhale toxic chemicals.

Through practical surveys, functional departments confirmed that the kit has the ability to spray down the rice roots to kill pests 2-3 times faster than conventional spraying, the productivity of spraying is about 2ha / day, at the same time. saving spray and the amount of medicine used is about 300,000 VND / ha.

Mr. Duong Van Thuan said: " I am self-tinkering, designing and succeeding after many improvements to improve the effectiveness of pest and disease-killing pests and plant protection. In addition to special treatment of hoppers, this kit also spraying fungicides, rice spiders, and spotted fungi . "

Thanks to his technical innovation initiative, Mr. Duong Van Thuan honored with 13 other typical farmers who were awarded the ' Agricultural Technical Innovation Contest ' by the Vietnam Farmers ' Association in Hanoi on 10/10 9.

Previously, TY: 03 Accessories Kit received the Second Prize of the Technical Innovation Contest of Tien Giang Province in 2009 and the Gold Cup at the Vietnam Golden Rice Fair - Soc Trang Expo 2010.
