New generation electric plane

According to Gizmag magazine, EADCO has signed a contract with AC Aero to develop a new electric plane called the Elektro E6, which can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a new pair. EADCO designed the breakthrough for this groundbreaking aircraft, while PC Aero undertook electronic systems.

PC Aero had previously designed the smaller Elektra One and Elektra One Solar, which when consumed half of the energy from solar panels on the wings.

Currently, the two companies are aiming to build a low-noise, low-vibration, low-CO 2 airplane, but can fly as far as 700km with 400kg of batteries in the aircraft. To achieve that goal, designers expect battery technology to continue to improve in the next 10 years because of its current battery capacity, with a feasible range of just under 300km.

The E6 has a wingspan of 16m, a length of 10m and a height of 3.34m, two front doors and one passenger / cargo door at the rear. EADCO expects the battery to be charged within 1 hour and can be exchanged so that when the E6 reaches the destination, the battery can be replaced for the next flight.

According to the calculations, 10% of E6 energy needs to be met by solar energy on the plane, according to EADCO this is impossible with current technology but may soon be realized. The speed of the aircraft is 220km / h and maximum of 300km / h.
