New invention: 'big' clothes with children

A fashion brand in the UK has just released a type of elastic clothing that is able to grow according to your child's development. This kind of "nostalgic wear" costume is inspired by Origami paper art.

This elastic fabric has special folds that can be changed to always fit even when the child is growing. This is a product of Petit Pli brand founded by Ryan Mario Yasin.

The collection includes warm and waterproof designs, which can be changed to the size of children from 4 months to 3 years old - the age of children must change the most.

Yasin graduated with a master's degree in Advanced Design Engineering, Royal College of Fine Arts (UK). He came up with the idea of ​​"wearing clothes that are not too tight" when buying clothes for his grandchildren who are in a very fast age.

Applying his knowledge of aircraft design, Yasin learned about the folding structure of small satellites. These designs require carbon sheets to be arranged in such a way that they fit into extremely small slots before stretching when activated.

The fabric structure will change according to the movement of the child.

Yasin said 'the fabric structure will change with the movement of the child, in harmony with their movements'. He experimented with this fabric at home by stacking home textiles and cooking them in a pot.

Currently Yasin is raising capital for Petit Pli and hopes to find partners to produce in the UK market.
