Scientists from Phlorida University (USA) have successfully developed new techniques that can detect cancer very early before cancer symptoms appear.

This technique involves designing molecular rods of genetic material such as DNA or RNA into a cell culture medium to investigate the possibility of them emitting fluorescent light after exposure to cancer-causing proteins.

This new technique can help identify biological agents that cause cancer in extremely complex tissue or fluid samples to detect new cancer or remaining cancer cells after treatment.
