New technology helps hard drive density higher than the current 12.5 times
This storage method allows the creation of 3-nanometer memory cells but can reach a density of up to 10 terabytes per square inch while the current record is 803 gigabytes.

Two experts, Thomas Russell and Ting Xu of the University of California (USA), used a mechanism to assemble asynchronous polymer chains to rearrange them into normal sets. As a result, they built 3 nm regions with huge data storage capabilities.
Scientists believe that the new self-assembly technique will change the storage industry.Photo: Nanowerk.
The new technique is also useful in loop designs because it does not need to depend on photolithography, or photolithography (photolithography - used in semiconductor and microelectronic technologies to create limbs. Parts of the component by light radiation alter the photosensitive sensors on the surface.
However, all inventions are meaningless if they cannot reach out to the lab. But Xu affirmed that the strength of this approach is that it can be applied right away on processes that are operating in the industry, which are put into production lines at low prices.
Moreover, the new technology also helps protect the environment because it is not acidic and other toxic chemicals.
