Fatty, soft raccoon, big limbs, body about 1.5 m; about 60-70cm tall; weighs 100-180kg. The ones with a pair of bowl-shaped black eyes ( / ), like wearing glasses, are very popular.

The ancestors of pandas are carnivores , but now they prefer vegetarianism, mainly eating bamboo bamboo (fargesia spathacea). An adult panda, eating about 20kg of fresh bamboo every day. Sometimes he broke the world, went to catch the mole (the type of mouse that ate bamboo shoots) in the bamboo forest. Sometimes even harassing people to steal food.

Panda likes to be solitary, the day is hidden for food, there is no fixed place to live, usually seasonal movements. Spring often lives in bamboo forests at an altitude of 3000m above the sea. In the summer, find a place to shade the young bamboo on the flank. In the autumn, the sun shining party is found at an altitude of about 2500m, preparing to go through the winter.

Panda breeding season in April and May; New male and female bears have the opportunity to live together. After May, they broke up again. Female bears are 4-5 months pregnant, rush to look for hollows or stone holes to give birth. They usually lay 1-2 offspring. Newborn bears weigh about 150g, equal to 1/1000 the weight of mother bears. But after 1 month, it weighed 2kg, after 3 months, it was 5-6kg. Mother's bear often held her baby to pat. Wherever he went, he would put his baby in his mouth, or carry on his back without leaving half a step. When the baby bears were 5-6 months old, they were taught by their children to climb, swim, bathe and peel bamboo. Two years later, the new bear "escapist" began an independent life. Panda lifespan is about 20-30 years.

Panda family is very old. About 1 million years ago, they were widely distributed in the provinces of Jiangxi, Shanxi, Beijing, Yunnan, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan. But there is little left now, becoming the "living fossil" of scientists studying the evolution of animals.
