Pants help paralyzed people to walk

An Israeli company has invented special pants that can help unscrupulous body sellers stand and walk like a normal person.

This special ' ReWalk ' pants were designed by Amit Goffer an Israeli man. In 1997, Goffer crashed into a car and his whole body was paralyzed. Since then, Goffer began researching a device that could replace a wheelchair.

ReWalk can help people who are in the body go back to normal.

The ReWalk weighs about 16 kg, used to wear outside. ReWalk is made up of motion sensors and electric powered racks mounted in the leg joints. As a result, it can sense the smallest movements as well as the shift in focus of paralyzed people, thereby helping them to stand up, walk and even climb stairs like a normal person.

After successfully building ReWalk, Goffer established a company called Argo Medical Technologies to mass produce and sell ReWalk widely on the market. After years of clinical trials in Israel and the US, this unique device will be launched in January next.

Argo's business manager Oren Tamari said: ' ReWalk is a human-machine device. The machine itself cannot walk. Users cannot walk on their own. Only when both are combined, can this device work '.

Tamari said, each ReWalk pants cost about 100 thousand USD. Frequent use of ReWalk can also help people who are infertile in life to avoid common urinary, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular diseases.

Those who have used ReWalk have all said that these special pants give them a lot of benefits. Radi Kaiuf, a former ReWalk user said: ' When I use ReWalk, it feels like I can control my body again. It was great . '

Although the device has been successfully developed to help unsatisfactory prostitutes stand and walk, Goffer himself never used ReWalk. Because from the neck down, Goffer's body was completely paralyzed. Meanwhile, ReWalk requires users to manipulate hands and shoulders.

However, Goffer also revealed that Argo Company is conducting research and launching a device to support those who are completely paralyzed.
