In this case, initially thought to be infected with influenza A / H5N1. However, on November 22, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology said, it is necessary to re-test the above patient to "determine N antigen", in other words, the patient is determined to be infected with influenza A. / H5, but it is unclear whether the H5N1 strain

Prof. Hoang Thuy Long also explained: '' During the test, not only did the H5N1 virus look for it, but it was also to see if the patient was infected with another virus strain. Although the dangerous H5N1 virus has a high risk of disease, but selects a suitable body, not everyone gets sick. Saying so does not mean that we are not wary of H5N1 but if we know how to prevent it well, it will not be worrisome . Currently, the health of Vu Van Hoa patient is very good. After discovering the above case, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology sent a working group to the patient's family to monitor epidemiology and take blood samples from family members and people who have contact with patients. Test results are negative.
