People do not die because of old age
As a human being, at some point, everyone must leave their present life to 'go to the afterlife', in many ways. However, no one died of old age, scientists asserted.
According to Life Little Mysteries, people in fact only die from injuries (such as falls or accidents) or illness (such as cancer).
Experts are determined, people never die of old age. Often when someone is said to have "died of old age and weakness", this means that the person has not survived one of the common illnesses in the late years.
Although many elderly people suffer from health problems, in fact, illness is not automatically accompanied by aging. In other words, youth does not guarantee you good health and old age is not synonymous with poor health. Statistics show that the elderly in the world are generally living longer as well as healthier than ever.
We are only certain of one thing, living cells have a certain lifespan. Still, it doesn't mean a simple living creature will die when its cells age. Instead, mutations in genes, diseases and harmful effects from the environment can nurture a certain disorder or disease.
As people get older, the cells will no longer function well and cannot cope with disease easily and recover as well as they once did when they were younger . Therefore, older people may die from injuries or illnesses that younger people can easily overcome and recover. This is the reason why people actually do not die just because of old age.
