Play dolls to improve memory

Scientists at the Newcastle Hospital have come to a conclusion after a study of the benefits of playing dolls for alzheimer's patients (a common memory impairment in older people, possibly leads to mental illness).
The team found that after 12 weeks of playing dolls, alzheimer's patients had a lot of positive progress. They communicate better with people around.
According to the team, caring for dolls can stimulate the memory of alzheimer's patients, helping them relive their role as parents. Although playing dolls cannot fully restore memory to alzheimer's patients, it partially improves their lives.
