According to NASA's assessment, if the Earth collided with this THT, the probability could occur in 2036, which would release an energy 100 thousand times the energy of Hiroshima's atomic bomb explosion ( Japan).

Under the immediate impact of the shockwave, thousands of square kilometers will turn into dead ground, the rest of the earth will be covered by dust gas from the explosion into the atmosphere.

According to scientists, the time left to pass a final decision is very little.

At the international conference on near-earth objects, which took place not long ago in London (UK), the researchers said that to test and improve equipment manufacturing technology to deflect orbit asteroids, it may take decades.

Most experts believe that the simplest method is to launch a spacecraft into an object that changes its flight trajectory.

This plan is being planned in an expedition program called 'Don Quichotte'. people will launch two artificial satellites toward THT.

"Idalgo" - the first satellite will collide with THT at a small speed. And the second artificial satellite - «Shango», will measure the change in the trajectory of the object. The fabrication of these two satellites will be passed in a few months, and the launch of them will have to wait tens of years.

By 2029 astronomers will know, whether this THT will collide with the earth in 2036.
