Quang Binh deployed solar battery project

On September 8, 2010, Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the consultant team of DOHWA Group on the content related to the Solar Battery Project in Quang Binh Province.

At the meeting, the representative of DOHWA Group presented the implementation plan and overview report on the Quang Binh Solar Battery Project. This project provides electricity to households, socio-economic institutions in villages in 10 communes in the western part of the province, but also faces many economic difficulties, transportation and especially nets. National electricity has not yet reached the people.

On the other hand, this is a green, clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly project and contributes to reducing the overload of the national grid. The project has a total investment of USD 15,572,000 from Korean ODA and reciprocal capital of the Government of Vietnam. Expected project implementation time within 3 years from 2011 to 2013.

After listening to the investment plan of DOHWA Consulting Group and the comments of representatives of leaders of Industry and Trade, Planning - Investment, Finance and Office of the Provincial People's Committee. The leader of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee concluded: acknowledging the efforts of DOHWA Group in the construction of Quang Binh Solar Energy Project; At the same time, it highly appreciated the effectiveness of the project implementation for socio-economic development in remote and deep-lying communes of the province.

Through the opinions exchanged at the meeting, he asked the Group to correct and complete some contents of the project to submit to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for consideration and decision.
