Quang Binh: Save the life of the brown-shanked douc langur

On the morning of September 18, the Office of the Animal and Plant Rescue (FFI) in Quang Binh reported that a resident at Pheo crossroads, Trung Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Dinh Van Cuong, had saved the life of a douc langur. Brown - a rare and precious rare primate species recorded in the world red book.

Mr. Cuong bought this langur from a group of hunters for 200,000 VND when they rested at Pheo and used antibiotics to cure the leg injury after the langur, then handed it over to FFI staff. Currently this langur has been transferred to Cuc Phuong National Park Primate Rescue Center.
