The Cheetah Experience, South Africa, publishes an unusual video of shrews of green-haired elephants eating a small worm that surprised viewers, Story Trender reported yesterday.
In the video, the small shrew sits in the middle of a towel and is eating a worm. Its fur glows an unusual blue.
However, this special green coat is actually created by light. Under other light, mouse hair returns to brown color. The staff at Cheetah Experience named the animal Charlie.
"Ms. Riana rescued Charlie when she was spared by the cat of a resident in Bloemfontein, then she gave her milk with a syringe. After finding out, she called us for help," Cheetah spokesman Experience said.
According to the staff, Charlie is the smallest and most exotic looking mouse they have ever seen. The most special point is that its nose looks very much like a faucet. Thanks to that, they realized Charlie was the elephant shrew .

"Elephant shrews rarely appear in this area. They are considered quite rare and threatened. Maybe Charlie of the mouse Suncus infinitesimus," a spokesman for the Cheetah Experience shared.
At first the staff tried Charlie to eat crickets, but the smallest crickets found were as big as half a mouse and frightened it. After a few days, they tried to bring worms to Charlie. He had never seen worms before, but finally grabbed and chewed.
