Release Windows XP SP3 Beta Previews
Microsoft officially confirmed the information that it had released Windows XP Service Pack 3 to a handful of users who chose to participate in testing its products.
All users of Windows XP SP3 are invited to test Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008. Microsoft has not yet revealed when it will release a beta version of Windows XP SP3 to the public.
The version of Windows XP SP3 released this time is still a Beta Preview (pre-beta). That is, it is not yet a full test version (beta). Perhaps when Microsoft completes the beta, it will be the time it releases it to the public.
In mid-July, Microsoft said it would release "pre-beta" Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3 at the same time. The full version of Windows XP SP3 will be released around the end of September. It seems that the release of Windows XP SP3 is the same version that Microsoft mentioned in the above time frame.
The email content informs Microsoft of Windows XP SP3 Beta Preview for Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 testers. ' Microsoft will release an official version of Windows XP SP3 in the first half of 2008. We are happy today to announce the release of Windows XP SP3 Beta Preview to your hands .'
' Windows XP SP3 Beta Preview is available in English, German and Japanese versions. During use, there is definitely an error. If so, please report them to us. We welcome it . '
