In order to overcome this situation, lecturers and students of Lac Hong Private University, Dong Nai province have developed the idea of designing and manufacturing industrial robots for cleaning glass doors for high-rise buildings .
With the main task of cleaning high-rise glass, the Robot not only has the ability to move on horizontal surfaces, but also moves on the vertical plane and carries the attached equipment to perform the cleaning of glass. , observing and painting.
Master Nguyen Vu Quynh - Lecturer of Lac Hong College of Electrical Engineering said: "Moving on the vertical plane is different and much more difficult than moving on the horizontal plane. Based on the principle Sliding on two bodies, when a body of the robot has been firmly attached to the glass, the second body will slide up and do so, at least 50% of the vacuum of the robot is attached to the glass, making robots cannot fall ".
By design, the robot uses a ball screw screw mechanism to perform a smooth movement in two perpendicular directions, using an anti-tail mechanism to rebalance the center , using a stroke switch and a siren. signal to identify the glass edge, and use the hot steam supplied to the cleaning unit. After more than a year of fabrication and experimentation, the results show that the robot works well, moving stably vertically, horizontally, crossing burrs and cleaning glass.
According to Dr. Tran Hanh - Principal of Lac Hong College of Education - Head of the project: "Glass cleaning robot every hour climbing 10 meters, about 7-8 meters across (about 80 m 2 ). Compared to humans, it is slower than one. little, but safer, because the higher you climb, the greater the risk of a human being. "
Not only replacing people in cleaning high-rise glass, helping people avoid unnecessary risks, glass-cleaning robots also have the advantage of having to invest only once, owners of tall buildings. You can use robots to clean the glass for years, saving you time, effort and cost. At this time, Lac Hong College of Education will coordinate with Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology to clean the glass to industrial production to meet the needs of consumers nationwide.
