The telegraph said that the robot looks like a white teddy bear. When sleeping, sleepers will place their hands on a device that measures oxygen levels in the blood below a sensor plate and a mic detects loud noises.

At times when people sleep hard and snore, blood levels will decrease. Robot bears will activate their feet and tap on the sleeping forehead. This action will cause them to stop snoring without waking up. The robot legs also lay the head of the sleeper when the mic detects a noise level exceeding a certain level.

Robot bears are named Jukusui-kun , based on the word "deep sleep" in Japanese. Robots built by Waseda Tokyo University scientists and published in the International Robot Festival have not been sold yet.
