Roscosmos will build a model of the moon station on earth

Before deploying the moon base work after 2030 as expected, a model of the station will be assembled on earth.

TASS is aware of this from a source in the Russian aerospace industry, referring to the draft federal space operation program 2016-2025.

According to the source, "at the beginning of the prototype the moon station will consist of four modules: living, experiment, energy and connection . " The mission of the prototype is to 'test the rationale of architectural and technical solutions', according to TASS.

The source of TASS said that the Russian Federal Space Agency plans to equip the facility to work on the moon with many different robots, including the task of building stations. The robot will also be tested on the ground.

Information about Roscosmos' related plans has appeared in the press before, but the 2016-2025 program itself has only recently been completed. As stated by Mr. Oleg Ostapenko, leader of Roscosmos in early October, the program is waiting for unified opinions and will be submitted to the government later this year.
