According to the source, the launch was done at 5:54 pm (Hanoi time). The Glonass-M positioning satellite has successfully separated from the Fregat propulsion block and entered the orbit as expected.

Glonass-M satellite No. 54 is equipped with an additional device - a high-precision heat-resistant module to conduct experiments on space.

This device is expected to be assembled into the next-generation Glonass satellite system to improve the accuracy of the positioning function.

This is the third Glonass satellite launch from the Plesetsk space airport. The first launch of this type of Russian positioning satellite was carried out in 2011.
