Saving 34 lives of rare turtles
From Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh Province), the park has released 9 rare turtles to the forest and handed over 25 other individuals to Cuc Phuong Turtle Rescue Center to take care of them.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang Research and Rescue Center released 8 individuals of Sa Nhan turtles and 1 individual golden forehead turtle (an animal belonging to group IIB named in the Vietnam Red Book) about natural forest.
These turtles are confiscated by functional forces from buyers of tortoises in Quang Binh province.

On September 18, the Center handed over 25 individuals of Sepon land turtles to the Rescue Center of Cuc Phuong National Park (Ninh Binh). It is known that in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, there is no equipment for Sepon turtle turtle rescue technology, so these individuals will be rescued at Cuc Phuong National Park Rescue Center, then released to Natural forest where habitats are suitable for this turtle.
This number of land turtles Sepon was previously taken by PC36 - Quang Binh Police and functional forces in the turtle transport and trade line from Cambodia and Laos to Vietnam.
