Scientists think they have found the fifth interactive force of the universe

This promises to be a breakthrough discovery, helping us to explain many of the mysteries of the universe including dark matter.

This promises to be a breakthrough discovery, helping us to explain many of the mysteries of the universe including dark matter.

Physics is quite complex with many concepts and laws, but that's just a small part of what scientists discover. There are still many mysteries in the vast universe. A recent discovery by physicists can help us understand more about the remaining mysteries of the universe.

It is the fifth mysterious interaction of the universe , which Hungarian physicists think they have found evidence of. At present, we only know of 4 basic interaction forces in the universe: gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong and weak nuclear force.

There are still many mysteries in the vast universe.

With these four types of interaction forces, scientists can explain many phenomena in the vast universe. For example, with gravity, we can explain the organization of the planets.Gravity and electromagnetic force can explain the existence of molecules and how they link together.

Besides, strong nuclear interaction force is a colloid that binds between protons and neutrons. The weak nuclear interaction forces some atoms to decay radioactivity. These 4 kinds of interaction forces have helped scientists in understanding and explaining natural phenomena.

Evidence of the fifth interacting force was first discovered last year, when a group of physicists at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences conducted a test of firing protons into lithium-7 isotopes .

Evidence of the 5th interaction force was first discovered last year.

As a result, they obtained a new ultralight new boson , weighing only 34 times an electron (which, as we know, electrons have almost no weight). However, this study then stopped at that discovery.

Until the end of last month, a group of scientists from the University of California published their analysis of this experiment. According to calculations, they argue that these new boson particles can carry a sort of 5th basic interaction force .

According to the journal Nature, scientists around the world are racing to re-examine the discovery of Hungarian physicists. We can expect to get clear results in 2017.

The newly discovered boson is probably the "dark photon".

Some scientists argue that the newly discovered boson is probably the "dark photon" , with properties in contrast to light photons. It can carry a new kind of fundamental force that can explain the existence and principle of dark matter, the invisible matter that accounts for 80% of the universe.

Therefore, once scientists better understand this new discovery, we will have more hope to discover the most mysterious things in the universe. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long until scientists around the world officially announce and confirm the fifth basic force of this universe.
