Climate change has been impacting strongly on Vietnam through the phenomenon of dangerous weather, most notably especially the seasonal storms, flooding, droughts are getting more and more intense.

According to calculations, if sea level rise by 1 meter, 10% of Vietnam's population will be directly affected, about 10% of GDP will be lost, while climate change will make about 40,000 km² of Vietnam's coastal plain. will be flooded every year.

In the opinion of many experts, it is not recommended to propagate general climate change but with specific numbers, images, examples; In particular, communication should be organized for specific economic regions because each region will be affected differently by climate change.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will open a website on climate change response to continue to receive feedback from scientists and people.
