Sim phones are capable of broadcasting Wi-Fi
Sagem Orga (Germany) has launched a special sim card capable of turning the phone into a hotspot Wi-Fi hotspot.
Sagem Orga's Sagf is the same size as the regular phone. When this product emits a signal, other devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets ... in the coverage area will be able to connect to the Internet through it.
SIMfi can broadcast 802.11 Wi-Fi, which is compatible with most current wireless access devices.
Sagem Orga said that the coverage of this special sim card reaches a maximum of 50 m, while consuming very little power during operation. The company announced the sale price of SIMFi about $ 6,800, but until the product is mass produced, the price will drop a lot.
