Skin cancer is caused by genetic mutations?

Scientists have discovered two gene mutations that appear at the same time in 71% of malignant melanoma tumors of skin cancer, according to AFP.

That's the discovery of American scientists from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).

These two mutations are found in a part of the genome that regulates genes.

This finding could help researchers better understand the disease and develop treatments for one of the most dangerous diseases in the world, or find a way to prevent the disease from developing.

When analyzing the data of the entire genome, they found two mutations in 17 out of 19 skin melanoma.

They then studied a large number of malignant tumors and found these mutations in 71% of tumors.

The study is published in the US Journal Science online journal.
